Because we are putting an electric heater in wood, the center hole in the wood used in Zaps will change shape slightly over time. The wood not visible under the top plate of the heatport will change to a greater degree than the visible wood. After some time, the heatport can become slightly loose in the wood. It may turn or rattle in the wood when this happens. It is best to address this early if noticed in your Zap. Our Tite Kit includes everything you will need to to re-set and tighten the heatport in the wood. We also provide two extra retaining rings(top clips) to insure your Zap stays just like new for a long time and complete instructions.
